Our History

James K. Thomas, a native Daytonian, attended Willard and Central Elementary Schools and Dunbar High School. James is a graduate of Roosevelt High School, Central State University, and Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science.

Upon his graduation from the Cincinnati School of Mortuary Science, James obtained his Ohio Funeral Director and Embalming license.

In addition to his many civic and altruistic endeavors, James is a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, a Past Master of Harmony Lodge #77 PHA&AM, Past Patron of Deborah Chapter # 19, OESPHA, a 33rd degree member of The United Supreme Council A.A.S.R. PHA, and many other houses of masonry.

James and his wife, Carol, have two children, two in-law children, and seven grandsons.
