SHAW-FROST, Ms. Toni Lillette, received her wings on Saturday morning, May 23, 2020. She was born to the late Henry Frost Sr., and Cloria Lewis Frost, on September 24, 1951. Toni graduated from Roosevelt High School. As a young woman, she worked at Miami Valley Hospital and was the first African American female EKG (Electrocardiogram) Techician. Toni’s passion for singing and love for God inspired her to sing with the National Recording Gospel Group, “Heavens Unlimited”, which open opportunities for them to sing with many renowned artists. Toni was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church/West, Reverend Reginald Fyre, Pastor. Toni leaves to cherish her loving memories children: sons Emerson Frost (Lucrezia) of Alexandria, VA and Willie Apro-Spencer of Kansas, MO.; daughter, Jolanda Spencer of Kansas, MO.; (10) grandchildren, Emerald Frost, Suwanya Frost, Erin Releford, Iesha Wood, Asia Releford, Kevin Moore Jr., Ja’Yanna Moore, Erica Thompson (Mychal), Jessica Jones and Lanny Jones Jr., great grandchildren, Mykayla, London, Eden, Lamia, Elissa, Elijah, Laila, Nova, and Jace; siblings Thomas Payne Sr., Henry Frost Sr. (Kina), Cynthia Davis, Regina Lewis, Gregory Frost, Angela Frost, Ronald Frost Sr., Robert Frost, Cietha Frost, Henry Frost IV, Sheldon Frost, Shannon Alexander (Junior), Kathy Williams, Pamela Payne, Jeannie Green, Kim Green, Harold Green “Chi’Chi”, Delisa Green, and Michael Murphy, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m., THURSDAY, May 28, 2020 at REDEMPTION CHRISTIAN TABERNACLE, 11780 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City, OH. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
