GIST, Sr., Stephen, born February 5, 1954, of Dayton, Ohio passed away September 23, 2020. A Graduate of Dunbar High School, and an employee of GoodYear and May Shedd Sales & Co. for many years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Gist; dad, John Benton; and brother, Dwight Gist. He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Doris Benton; son, Stephen Gist Jr.(Tiameca); sisters, Paula Hubbard, and Patricia Wilder (Gerald); grand-daughters Jazmyne, Jordyn, Jariana, and Janae; and great-grand daughter, Bria; niece, Erica Gist; nephews, Gregory Hubbard (Mia), Eric Hubbard (Tasha) Derrick Wilder, Gerald Wilder Jr.(Mazia), Patrick Wilder, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and longtime companion, Leatha Hicks.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, September 29, 2020, at Thomas Funeral Home, 4520 Salem Ave., Trotwood, Ohio 45416. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
