MONCRIEF, Jr., Roy, 71, of Dayton, Ohio, took his place in heaven with the great “cloud of witnesses” to praise “the Lord all the days long”. He is proceeded in death by his parents Roy Moncrief, Sr. and Helen Farr Cable (step-father William Cable); brother, William Moncrief; sister, Melinda Moncrief; and nephew, Anthony Gullatte. He leaves to cherish his memory two sisters, Diana Hicks and Benita Gullatte; nieces, Jenea Hicks and Renea Smith; nephews, Dion Gullatte and Roger Gullatte, Jr.; special niece, Janasa Powell; and a host of other nieces, nephews, family members, and friends. A special thanks to the staff at Maria Joseph Center and Hospice Care. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, August 31, 2020, at Thomas Funeral Home, 4520 Salem Ave., Trotwood, Ohio 45416, with Rev. Robert Jackson officiating.
