Norma J. Taylor, 88, passed away peacefully at her home on February 27, 2021. Proceed in death by her parents Howard and Mary Sims (Harris). She is survived by her devoted husband Lavern D. Taylor of more than 65 years, loving children; Michael (Michelle) Taylor of Dacula, Georgia, daughter LaVerna Taylor Cole (Bill) of Dayton, Ohio, son-in-law Blake Cole Atlanta, Georgia, 4 grandchildren; Kalia Cole (Gabriel) Dayton, Ohio, Tiffany Cole (Glenn) Dayton, Ohio, Ashleigh Taylor (Chris) Dacula, Georgia, Austen Taylor Atlanta, Georgia, 3 siblings Norrinia Allen Atlanta, Georgia, Sandra Quartman (Jimmy) Dayton, Ohio, Linda Carter (Ernest) of Midland, Michigan, 4 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Officiating Rev. Dr. William E. Harris Jr., funeral services will be held Tuesday March 9, 2021, 11 am at Thomas Funeral Home, 4520 Salem Avenue, Dayton, Ohio. The family will receive friends at 10 am. Due to COVID-19 the family will have a private burial.
