MURRAY, Michael Elevert, affectionately known as ‘Mike Lawry’, was born on March 13, 1979 to Donna Ann Murray and Alvin Michael Newberry in Dayton, Ohio and passed away unexpectedly November 10, 2020.

Michael was a truly loving and devoted fiancée, son, father, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin & friend who was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mary Ella & Elevert George Murray; paternal grandparents; Mildred Newberry & Alfred Lucas; father Alvin Michael Newberry; son, Mi’Quan Murray; brother, Michael Johnson; and aunt, Evelyn Davis.

Michael leaves to cherish his precious memory his fiancée, Keita Harris; mother, Donna Ann Murray; three sons, Jaymar Miller, Millione BallMurray, and Tyron Darby; one step-son, Dammon ‘Smurf’ McGuire; two sisters, Deanna and Rhonda Murray; two brothers, Sharod Herman & Joe Jackson; six aunts, Mary Chappel, Delois Williams, Marilyn Newberry, Sheila Wilson, Alfreda (Marvin) Jones, & Patricia Newberry; one uncle, Allen Newberry; five nephews, DaVaughn (Kaleisha) Richardson, Keith (Mercedes) Everett, Jr., Brian & Daryan (Erica) Jackson, and Jamil Dixon; two nieces, Jasmine Murray & Jalina Jackson; special cousin/best friend, Kevin Newberry, Sr. and best friend, Darian ‘Doughboy’ Culpepper; a host of cousins, other loved ones, & friends.
