Obituary

PARKER, Lucille “Sista” Lynette transitioned this life at the age of 46 on July 5, 2020. Lucille “Sista” Lynette Parker was born in Dayton, Ohio January 26, 1974 to Rebecca Parker and the late Dennis Nathaniel Weaver. Lucille lived her life through self-preservation. She always did things according to her own way of thinking. She was a very strong minded and courageous woman. She survived through many difficult challenges in life. A true survivor that could make it through anything. Lucille was always authentic with family and friends, she never faked how she felt about you. She always kept it real. She suffered from mental and traumatic experiences in her child and adult life. Which later lead her to feel more comfortable on the streets. Through it all Lucille gave birth to 6 beautiful children that she unfortunately wasn’t able to raise but she played a big role in their lives nonetheless. Two of her sons were adopted and her three daughters were raised by their great-grandmother Mrs. Lucille Parker and her son James Parker unfortunately didn’t make at birth.

Lucille had a great personality she was loving, very funny and kind. She enjoyed shopping, she had a great sense of style, eating, and doing her hair. She had a million-dollar smile and a walk you can see from a mile away. She loved to listen to music, dance, sing and laugh out loud.

Lucille never hesitated to help her grandchildren. She loved them and they knew her as their grandma. Lucille was very intelligent despite her not having a formal education. She was a true master with numbers and memorization.

Lucille is preceded in death by her grandmother Lucille Parker; brother, James B. Parker Sr,; son, James Parker; and father, Dennis Nathaniel Weaver. Lucille Leaves to cherish her memories to her beautiful mother, Rebecca Parker; sister, Teresa Parker; 3 loving daughters, Carnella Parker, Merica Parker and Deona Parker; 2 sons, Buster Dillard Parker and Tyrone McLin; 4 grandchildren, Decro Bailey, Raegan Lewis, Elih Parker and Pharaoh Lewis; and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at Thomas Funeral Home, 4520 Salem Ave., Trotwood, OH 45416. Final disposition: Cremation. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.thomasfunerals.com
