Obituary

HILL, Julie Ann, age 70, passed away unexpectedly June 5, 2020. She was born July 29, 1949 in Dayton,
Ohio, and was the oldest of four children of the late Anna and Leonard Hill (step-father). She was a 1967
graduate of Dunbar High School. Julie was a retired employee of Ledex, a former employee of the Ohio
Department of Rehabilitation and Correction, and had worked several other jobs. She was a member of
Canaan Missionary Baptist Church. Julie was very strong-willed and determined. During her earlier years she loved roller skating and was quite athletic. Julie was a good cook and enjoyed cooking. AND if you wanted a tall tale (or not) you could get one from Julie! She was preceded in death by her father, I. Johnson, and brother, Leonard (Pint) Hill. She is survived by sons, Todd L. Hill, Tony D. (LaMicah) Hill; sisters, Janet (Willie) Luckie and Joeanna (Lewis) Hill-Robinson; God-sister Carla (Alex) Ovia; brother, Alex Schooler. She also leaves several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and a few aunts. Special friends include Mary Raines, Judy Morrow, JoAnn Marks, John Marks and Debbie Allen. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, TUESDAY, June 16, 2020, at THOMAS FUNERAL HOME, 4520 Salem Ave., Trotwood, Ohio 45416, with Rev. Joseph Coleman officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Interment: Jeffersonview Cemetery. On-line condolences may also be sent to the family at www.thomasfunerals.com

To the Hill Family ... we, Abraham and Lula Turner, Sr. & family, are praying that God will continue to bless you during this time of great loss. We loved Julie and will always have the memories of us all growing up together at Canaan Missionary Baptist Church. May God comfort you as only HE can during this time. Please know that we love you.
