Obituary for James V. JONES Jr.
James V. Jones Jr. was born on May 20th, 1944, in Pensacola, Florida. He was the son of the late James V. Jones Sr. and Almena (Jones) Bobbitt. On Saturday, February 27th, 2021, he quietly entered into eternal rest. He was a 1963 graduate of Dunbar High School, Dayton, Ohio. He retired from Dayton Power and Light after 25 faithful years of service. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and step-father Jesse Bobbitt.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Diana Alexander Jones and three children, Jennifer Romero (Carlos), Ryan Alexander (Shauntay), Brittany Jones (Thomas). Four grandchildren Peyton Woodruff, Melía Alexander, Ryan Kellis Alexander, and Kaia Alexander. Two brothers Tony Jones (Ruth), John Jones, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
