I came to know Brother Turner when I first began to do ministry with the Laymen Auxiliary. I was and still a young man, but those Elders like Brother Turner, were very supportive of me as a young person, giving leadership to this ministry. Brother Turner was all the meeting that I was a part of. My prayers to the family, Zion Hill and the Laymen Auxiliary.

To the family of Deacon Greenwood Turner. God has called home a mighty soldier who has been on the battlefield for the Lord a long time. He walked the walk, talked the talk, and now he has met his Savior face to face. Be comforted in knowing that his life was good here on earth and in heaven it will be great. Deacon Turner was a friend to my late husband, Deacon Hayes and he was a friend of mine. Always checking to see if I was okay after my husband passed. Always supporting Zion Hill and especially the missionary auxiliary as we fed the hungry, visited the sick, and clothed those in need. March on Deacon Turner. I Salute you! You won the battle.
