Ethel, I don't know anyone who could match the fighting spirit that you exhibited throughout your life. Since I've known you, there were two things that remained constant, your love for Wendy and your friendship with my mom, Ernestiene. I thank you for all the support that you have given me and I will miss you eternally.

Thank you Ethel Bonner and Wendi for sharing a moment of your lives with me in Dayton during your creation of fashion shows. and youth scholarship programs. You introduced The Hal Jackson Talented Teen International Scholarship Pageant to the Greater Dayton area back in the 1975 . and you geve me the opportunity to working with you as your host and commentator. You also had me on the stage modeling. (only you Ehtel could have done that) Your support , helped launch me into my life long career as a broadcaster and public speaker in Dayton, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Michigan abd Atlanta. I will always remember you and the good times we shared.

Ethel, we certainly have made lots and lots of memories over our 48 years of friendship from Dayton to Atlanta! You also introduced me to my husband, Ed almost 31 years ago. We will miss you. Shine in the glory of God, as He gives you the desires of your heart. …RIP my dear friend. Gwen (Ed) Thomas, Atlanta GA
