Obituary for Ernest "Snoop" CLARK

Clark, Ernest, “SNOOP”, was born January 29, 1957 in Dayton, Ohio to Fred and Helen (Anderson) Clark. He attended Dayton Public Schools and received his GED at Job Corps Training in California. He was baptized at an early age at Harris Memorial CME Church. After returning from California, Ernest landed jobs at Western Sizzling Restaurant and Standard Register, later, he landed a job at the former Dominic’s Italian Restaurant as a dishwasher, and earned his way to become a chef, his specialty “shrimp scampi”, for over 25 years, until they closed in 2007; he also was a current employee with UCI Midwest for 22 years until his recent health failure. He was the life of the party, who never met a stranger. Snoop loved his family and friends, get-togethers and dancing. He also was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.

Ernest was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Sharon Clark, sisters, Margaret Rainey and Judith Douglas and son-in-law, Calvert Whaley.

He leaves to cherish his memory, Loving Family: Children: Antonio Clark, Angela Clark-Whaley, Ernest Clark, Shanequa (Darnel) Bennett, Lakeisha (Charles) Harden, Latisha Clark, Darrell Clark (their Mother: Ann Simon); Antwan Clark and Sharita Clark and helped raise Teresa Warren (their Mother: Barbara Warren, deceased). Siblings: Fred Jr. (Susan) Clark, Helen (Tyler) Ray, twin brother, Edward Sr. (Romon) Clark, Pamela (Roderick Sr.) Harris and Kevin (Heidi) Clark, Fiancée’, Carolyn Dye, brother-in-law, Calvin Douglas, Sr., God daughter, Julie Elam, cousins, Bruce (Peggy) Allen and Donald Allen, best friends, Terry Bush and Eddie Howard, 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, devoted grandchildren, Darnell Clark and CaLia Whaley; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, February 27, 2021, at Thomas Funeral Home, 4520 Salem Ave., Trotwood, Ohio 45416. Walk through visitation will be held one hour prior to service.
