Anthony “Tony” Thomas Bailey, age 88, departed this life on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 in Dayton, OH. He was born to Moses and Nettie (Gibbs) Bailey on May 30, 1932 in Moreland, GA. He served in the United States Army in Savannah, GA. After his honorable discharge, Tony married Mildred Florence in Newnan, GA. In 1961, they migrated to Dayton, OH and in 1976 Tony retired from Borchers Ford. When not working on cars, Tony enjoyed fishing and playing the Lotto. Tony and Mildred shared 64 years of marriage and raised six children.

Those left to cherish his memories includes his wife Mildred T. Bailey of Dayton, OH; his son, Ray (Donna) Bailey of Brookville, OH; his daughters, Theresa Ann Bailey and Lisa Marie (Greg) Bailey-Wilson of Aurora, CO; his grandsons, Kiff Bailey of Dayton, OH; Dion Wynn, Aurora, CO and Trey Johnson of Irving, TX; his granddaughters, Sonda Wynn of Denver, CO, and Chyna Moore (Darnell) Burkes of Dayton, OH, Amber and Amelia Bailey, Xenia, OH; his niece, Rosalee Bradley of Dayton OH, his nephew, Greg Bailey, his 9 great grandchildren, a host of relatives and many special friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, eight siblings, his daughter, Fayette Florence Wynn and his twins, Keith and Kelvin. He will always be in the hearts and minds of his family and many friends. His contagious smile and caring big heart will be forever missed.
